On 14 September 2025, the Minister of Communications, YB Fahmi Fadzil, visited the Fibre to The Home (FTTH) project site at Rumah Keluarga Angkatan Tentera (RKAT) in Butterworth, Penang.
Also in attendance were Datuk Seri Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Communications, and Abdul Karim Fakir Ali, Managing Director of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
The FTTH Project, which involves 73 military camps nationwide and covers more than 59,000 RKAT units, represents a major milestone in Malaysia’s effort to expand high-speed broadband access. The initiative was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 11 October 2024 between the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM).
This collaboration aims to enhance digital connectivity and improve the quality of life for military families through reliable and efficient broadband infrastructure. By ensuring comprehensive coverage within military housing areas, the project supports the national agenda to strengthen digital inclusion and connectivity across all communities.As part of Malaysia’s ongoing digital transformation journey, Stealth Solutions, continues to play an active role in enabling and supporting telecommunications infrastructure nationwide.
